A Little Less Panic, a Little More Excitement Please

WITH just 10 days to go I am feeling a little all over the place.

It still doesn’t feel real that I am actually leaving work and the UK for two months, and I think a silent panic mixed with nervousness and excitement is starting to set in.

When I booked this trip I felt like March was ages away. But the last three months have gone much too fast for my liking. While I have tried to be as organised as possible, and there are only one or two things left on my to do list, I’m starting to have these little, two second panics  and I start fretting about how few days I have left until take off.

Then I tell myself I’m being really stupid. Everything is going to be fine. I’m going to meet some great people. I’m going to have an amazing time.

Calm down!

Don’t panic!!

This post was inspired by my love for this song and Coldplay, and my excitement at finally getting to see them at Glastonbury this year.

This happy thought makes me less panicky 🙂

  1. Good lucky Dishy! You’ll be fine and will experience two of the most life-altering months you’re ever likely to. Savour it all. And take loads of pics! See you when you’re home explorer x
